Your role

As Flow Meter Inside Sales Engineer for our Kracht brand, your mission is to drive sales growth for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and relationships in the market. You will report to the President of Industrial Flow North America and work closely with the product team to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies. 

You will

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, handling technical, commercial, and logistical inquiries.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and proposals by applying company pricing standards and verifying product availability.
  • Support sales strategies by identifying customer needs, explaining product options, and highlighting competitive advantages.
  • Manage project files and orders, ensuring clear communication on confirmations, shipping updates, and backorders.
  • Conduct customer, market, and competitive analyses to support sales initiatives.
  • Create calculations, presentations, and materials to assist with negotiations and trade shows.

To succeed, you will need

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales of products requiring technical explanation
  • You have experience with hydraulic applications.
  • You have experience working with ERP and CRM systems
  • You have a 4 year college degree in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • You have experience with flow meters.

Job location

This role is located in our Houston office and will require travel to customers and other offices.
