Human Resources Generalist

Your role
Bring your curiosity to work as our next Human Resources Generalist. You will be part of our Industrial Flow HR team reporting to the HR Manager. In this role, your mission is to deliver both strategic guidance and hands-on support across the employee lifecycle driving a positive employee experience while ensuring compliant, data-informed HR practices that enable organizational success. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.
Short Description
Your day-to-day

- Employee Data: Own and maintain employee data in HR/Payroll Systems and employee files. Participate in internal and external audits of the HR function as required.
- Cyclical HR Processes: Oversee and guide cyclical HR processes such as payroll deadlines, monthly headcount reporting, vehicle allowance program, annual salary review, and variable compensation ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Lead onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure that employees have a positive experience. Manage and maintain employee records, facilitate new hire orientation, conduct exit interviews and analyze data.
- Reward and Recognition: Manage the spot award and employee milestone programs, promoting employee engagement and retention. Review programs and suggest innovative approaches to foster recognition of employees.
- Policies and Procedures: Provide clear guidance to employees in the application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Review and suggest updates and manage policies and procedures to ensure they support the organizational culture, encourage best practice, and adhere to local legislation.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers during talent acquisition by providing guidance and feedback through interviews, assessments, and simulations. Coordinate with managers to prepare and issue offer packages.
- Metrics and Analytics: Track, analyze, and report HR metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights that support data drivien decision making.
Your skills and experience
- Degree in HR or related area of study
- HR certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience as an HR generalist, providing operational HR support and strategic partnership to managers
- Up to date knowledge of appropriate employment laws and experience managing employee relations
- Functional knowledge across all aspects of the employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, onboarding and offboarding, policy implementation, and employee relations
- Ability to understand and use HR systems, including payroll systems
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to be flexible, coping with a constantly changing environment and priorities
- Ability to work independently while using judgement as to when additional support is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Greens Road location in Houston, Texas.
