Your future job

Your day-to-day

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Product and Application Specialist. You will be part of our sales team reporting to the Business Line Manager. In this role, your mission is to be the technical liaison between our pump technology and the customer’s process—helping plant builders, engineers, distributors, and sales teams select, specify, apply, and support the right pump solution for municipal wastewater and biogas applications. In this role, you will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.

You will:

  • Develop strong technical relationships with municipal wastewater plant builders, biogas plant builders, engineering consultants, OEMs, and EPC organizations.
  • Lead application expertise for pumps used in municipal wastewater treatment, sludge handling, solids handling, and biogas/anaerobic digestion processes.
  • Understand customer operating conditions and recommend appropriate pump technologies, configurations, materials, and accessories.
  • Review customer specifications, process data, drawings, P&IDs, and technical requirements.
  • Attend customer meetings, technical presentations, and project discussions with the sales team.
  • Develop technical differentiators against competitive solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling across the pump portfolio.
  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and field-based distributor training.
  • Develop and deliver training modules for municipal wastewater and biogas segments.
  • Train distributor salespeople to identify opportunities, ask the right technical questions, and independently perform basic pump selections.
  • Create digital tools that simplify pump selection and application engineering.
  • Translate technical pump knowledge into scalable digital tools in collaboration with product management, engineering, marketing, and IT teams.
  • Develop tools and resources that improve technical support capabilities for customers, distributors, and sales teams.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant industry experience will also be considered.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in pumps, rotating equipment, wastewater treatment, biogas systems, process equipment, or other industrial process applications.
  • Experience with one or more pump technologies and their applications is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting distributors, OEMs, EPC contractors, consulting engineers, or plant builders is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to analyze application requirements and recommend technically sound solutions for a variety of industrial and municipal process environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to customers, distributors, engineering partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Programming experience is not required; however, the ability to define technical logic, engineering calculations, workflows, and user requirements for digital tools and sales enablement solutions is important.

We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.
