Your role

As a Key Account Manager - CPI, develop and execute an effective sales strategy for industrial vacuum equipment in Oil & Gas and Chemical Process Industries. Enhance the Division’s and Company’s reputation by upholding core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation. Report to the Business Line Manager.

You will
  • Product Sales (80%) – Prospect and maintain key accounts. Exceed sales goals by targeting prospects in Oil & Gas and Chemical Process Industries. Follow up on leads from field and telemarketing activities. Maintain contact with customers and respond promptly to inquiries. Introduce new products and coordinate with Product Management. Engage in prospecting to grow customer base and market share.
    • Prepare and present sales materials and attend trade shows, exhibits, and meetings. Maintain customer base, quotations, and calendar daily.
    • Prepare quotes, proposals, pricing, and review terms and conditions.
    • Take necessary actions to complete tasks and communicate with all relevant personnel.
  • Personal Development (10%) – Update knowledge of vacuum products and sales strategies through education, reading, networking, and professional organizations. Use the Learning Link Portal for growth.
  • Market Analysis (5%) – Monitor economic trends affecting the vacuum pump business. Report findings to Business Line Managers, General Manager, and Regional Sales Representatives.
  • Reporting (5%) – Prepare reports on activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and budget performance. Report special developments and provide recommendations on products, services, pricing, and competitive evaluation.

You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience, with 3-5 years in industrial sales, preferably in Industrial Vacuum. Knowledge of Oil & Gas and Chemical Process Industries is preferred.

Job location

This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from anywhere in the US. We value results over location and provide the tools and support you need to succeed from any location. Preferred location in Gulf Coast region or NJ.
