Your role

As a Quality Engineer at Edwards Taiwan Customer Centre, you will be pivotal in elevating our quality standards by overseeing customer complaint management, handling NCR/NEXUS cases, and driving structured problem-solving activities. You will champion the quality management system by preparing for audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), and facilitating continuous improvement projects across the organization. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, your role ensures seamless coordination between teams to promptly address quality concerns and implement effective corrective measures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the entire lifecycle of NCR and NEXUS cases with precise documentation, timely escalation, and proactive follow-up to guarantee resolution.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to validate product issues, conducting root cause analyses and supporting the development or review of 8D reports that focus on long-term corrective solutions.
  • Providing clear, factual, and timely updates to customers to foster transparency and trust.
  • Monitoring recurring quality issues and identifying patterns that require preventive action to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Supporting internal and external audits by updating and maintaining ISO documentation and quality records in alignment with global compliance requirements.
  • Engaging actively in continuous improvement initiatives by leading problem-solving workshops, analyzing data trends, and mentoring team members on quality best practices.
  • Assisting with limited warranty support activities including reviewing failure trends and coordinating corrective actions with manufacturing and service teams.

  • Relevant degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of practical experience in quality engineering or related service roles.
  • Proficiency with quality management tools including 8D methodology, root cause analysis, and audit processes.
  • Experience managing customer complaints and driving effective resolutions is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities coupled with data analysis competence.
  • Ability to recognize failure patterns and support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with warranty process and trend analysis considered an asset.
  • A solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations to support safe work environments.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the capacity to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while thriving within team environments.

Job location

This position is based at our Customer Centre in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The role requires on-site presence to facilitate direct collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in manufacturing and quality assurance activities on the ground.
