Your role
As a SHE Expert,
- Ensures that SHE Management System and strategy are effectively implemented.
- Identify and update SHE related laws and regulations to ensure SHE compliance based on legal and A/C requirements.
- Establish and optimize the local SHE management system based on ISO14001 & ISO45001.
- Take part in internal and external SHE management system’s audits, key suppliers SHE compliance audits to ensure that the SHE management system operates effectively from internal and external aspects.
- Support the FS functions to carry out risk assessments/environment registration, make sure the general risk assessment and environment registration will be updated to the latest.
- Plan and provide SHE trainings to all employees regularly. Run the LeadSafe/ActSafe program frequently to raise employee’s safety awareness and enhance safe and environmental friendly behaviours.
- Responsible for the implementation of SHE programs in line with the demands for the FS development, such as Manual handling/LOTO(LockOut&Tagout)/Machine guarding/Noise reduction/LeadSafe&ActSafe etc.
- Participate in the VTPS assessment and development as an internal auditor to support the local FS operational excellence program.
- Monitor FS OH factors (Manual handling/Noise/Chemicals) and environment factors regularly to meet the related SHE standards.
- Setup local ERT (Emergency Response Team) and provide the training to the ERT, organize emergency drills regularly.
- Support, maintain and improve the safety culture and behaviours by driving the safety roadmap to a worldclass level and support the SHE Champion program continuously.
- Undertake investigations to incidents/accidents and report them as required with documentation and in time in the reporting system.
- Prepare and maintain necessary regulatory documentation and reports.
- Managing the office from SHE related, planning and improvement, expansion project perspectives.
- 6S exam and reinforcement to the field service team

- Qualification in an engineering discipline with a work based qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or a qualification in Safety engineering, environmental engineering with a mechanical technical background.
- Certified safety engineer.
- Certified ISO14001&ISO45001 internal auditor.
- Familiar with contractor safety management, have work experience of project safety management.
- > 1-3 years experience in SHE role within a manufacturing organization.
- Having basic knowledge and experience of lean production and shingo mindset would be preferred.
- The job holder must be an accomplished safety expert with a track record of improved safety performance.
- Strong communication skills, organisational awareness and impact and influencing skills area prerequisite.
- Self Starter, effective time manager and effective line manager.
- Assertive, diplomatic with a good appreciation of business and commercial issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, orientation in modern IT structures and processes.
