Technical Support Engineer (172390)

Your role
- Provide advanced technical support to Field Service, Sales teams, and customers, independently resolving complex issues.
- Coordinate resources and identify potential risks to ensure successful project execution and smooth operations.
- Deliver technical training and presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Review system designs with customers, recommend solutions, and negotiate technical modifications.
- Build and maintain strong customer partnerships to support long-term business relationships through reliable service delivery.
- Gather and share customer, product, operational, and competitor insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead system support and integration activities to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with global Edwards support teams to provide technical support for Semiconductor and FPD industries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, environmental requirements, and Health & Safety regulations.
To succeed, you will need
- At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong understanding of complex technical issues demonstrated by speed, accuracy, and quality.
- Sought after for advice and support.
- Proficient in PC skills for managing information and preparing reports without secretarial help.
- Familiar with Edwards’s products like Cryo pump, Compressor systems, Polycold products, and semiconductor technology for technical discussions with engineers and leaders.
- Knowledge of Edwards’s global organization to access appropriate support when local issues arise.
- Understands Edwards’s and customers’ organizations and practices to manage equipment support in line with company policies.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems, consulting others only when necessary.
