Technical Trainer (172397)

Your role

• Deliver technical training, competency assessments, and examinations at training centers and customer sites.
• Prepare training facilities, equipment, and materials to ensure effective course delivery.
• Conduct instructor-led training using approved course content to develop employee product and functional competencies.
• Demonstrate and reinforce safe maintenance practices in accordance with technical manuals, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Reset and maintain training equipment and systems for ongoing training readiness.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using established processes and industry best practices.
• Perform workplace competency assessments and observational reviews to support employee development and task qualification.
• Coach managers and team leaders on conducting competency and performance assessments.
• Support apprenticeship training programs and other technical development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate training records and attendance data within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Contribute subject matter expertise to course development, review, and continuous improvement activities.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects assigned by management.

To succeed, you will need

• 3-5 years experience working as a Field/Onsite Service Engineer or in a Field Service environment – Required
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) as well as native language - Required
• Formal engineering/technical qualification (UK Level 2-3 Apprenticeship/ vocational qualification or global equivalent) – Highly desirable
• Previous experience of delivering training in a classroom and/or workplace environment - Advantageous
• Recognized Learning & Development or instructional qualification - Advantageous

Job location

Option 1: On-Site
This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Hsinchu, Taiwan (TW). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
