Abatement Applications Manager, Korea CC

Your role

As a Abatement Applications Manager, Korea CC, your mission is to [briefly describe the main mission]. You will report to Applications Director.

Oversee/lead all regional presales/application projects and effectively validate the application requirements by consulting throughout the entire engineering process to establish measurable and practical requirements

Integrate technical application requirements from various activities and provide a strategic direction for product improvements and development through coordination with RPM, DPM and global applications

Provide a market classification by segmenting the target market through accurate analysis of applications

Define future needs, potential risks and opportunities from both a market and technical perspective by analyzing new changes in customer technology and market trends

Build expertise in EHS regulations and customer regulations, manage the requirements effectively, and organize regional activities to find solutions and alternatives to comply with

Define the gap between application requirements and the current product coverage by encouraging accurate engineering, and manage/mitigate the gap with alternatives until a new product launch

Lead and conduct Abatement Application Engineering and new sales proposal process

Develop new methodologies in failure analysis, measurement of requirements, practical engineering, etc.

Evaluate and approve the key deliverables and achievements of the application project (Proposals, solutions, alternatives, product choice, technical requirements, etc.)

Provide practical insight and consult for discussion with the R&D team on the technical trade-off

Contribute to the reduction of regional warranty costs by providing accurate consulting and solutions

To succeed, you will need

Required

B.S. in Chemistry and Engineering, Material Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor based Electrical/Electronic/Engineering (M.S. or Ph.D degree is preferred)

10+ years of experience

Experience in managing applications and marketing

Experience in application engineering (or process engineering)

Application engineer of dry pump, abatement and integrated systems or semi/display manufacturing tool, semiconductor process engineering

Lead specialist of marketing with a focus on incorporating technical features

Lead engineer for dry pump, abatement and integrated system application engineering

Strong understanding in the semiconductor/display market and technology

Customer negotiation skills (Technical/Commercial)

High competence in adopting new technology and knowledge

Background in semiconductor process architecture engineering - preferred

Fluent in EnglishKnowledge of Precursors, Material analysis methods and tools(XPS, FTIR etc) - preferred

Knowledge of Vacuum technologies and Semi manufacturing tools - preferred

Job location

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Hwaseong, Korea (the Republic of) (KR).
