Your role

A Product Specialist is a product-focused technical expert who works closely with customers and sales representatives to drive product success and ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle, particularly in areas such as Dry Pump, EUV, IS, and EGM.

■ Product Specialist provides clear and practical guidance to both customers and sales teams to optimize product performance and maximize value, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities.

■ Ultimately, Product Specialist serves as a key enabler of successful product adoption, bridging technical expertise and customer engagement to deliver reliable performance, strong customer trust, and sustainable business outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

Product specialist is the person responsible for

• Providing timely and effective responses to customer technical inquiries, requests, and issues, while delivering structured problem-solving to address challenges that arise during product application and deployment.

• Defining and delivering optimal product usage guidelines, including operating conditions, configurations, and best practices, to ensure that customers can achieve the highest levels of performance, functionality, and product lifetime.

• Planning, managing, and technically supporting all customer evaluations, tests, and measurements, ensuring that product performance and value propositions are accurately validated and demonstrated. This includes proactive technical engagement to secure the best possible outcomes during initial use, qualification, and performance verification stages.

• Leading professional and in-depth technical discussions with customers, clearly explaining detailed product specifications, performance characteristics, and application-related considerations. All customer questions and requests are addressed promptly, and any unresolved issues are systematically documented and escalated to the Product Manager in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Playing a critical role in tracking and managing evaluation activities for new products and technology introductions, while ensuring that any issues or underperformance are properly addressed. This includes coordinating with relevant developers and internal teams to collect, consolidate, and provide the necessary technical data and insights required to support Applications and Technical Support activities.

• Accurately understanding, interpreting, and communicating both standard specifications and customer-specific requirements, ensuring that all technical expectations are clearly defined, aligned, and effectively conveyed to relevant stakeholders.

• Consolidating, managing, and maintaining all relevant technical documentation and data, including product introduction materials, performance data, technical specifications, and specification sheets. This includes establishing and maintaining a structured documentation and data management framework, enabling users to efficiently access and utilize information through a defined pipeline aligned with IP classification and access control requirements.

• Always remain in compliance with company guidelines

Your skills and experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering ; Master’s preferred
    • Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics ; Master’s preferred
    • 5+ years Research/study in Semi/Display/Vacuum related products and tools R&D
    • 5+ years Research/study in Mechanical Equipment and Machine R&D
    • 7+years Experience in Semi/Display/Vacuum-related Tool/Equipment Engineering
    • 7+years Experience in Mechanical Equipment/product Engineering
    • Fluent English skills (speaking and writing) -            OPIC IH+, TOEIC LV7+

    Required :

    • Proven experience as a Product Specialist or similar role
    • Proven Project Management skills – essential
    • Knowledge of explosion proof technology and the regulations
    • Excellent communication skills(intercultural/ interperonal) & proven English skills
    • Proven presentation skills (written/verbal) / Proficient in MS office(Excel, PPT, Word)
    • Problem-solving aptitude
    • Commercial and customer focus
    • Excellent teamwork skills
    • Familiarity with Agile framework

    Preferred :

    • Knowledge of Plasma, Vibration(Noise), Statistics, Fluid dynamics
    • Knowledge of Vacuum technologies, equipment, gauges
    • Background in Mechanical Product R&D process
    • Good understanding in Semiconductor market
    • Conflict resolution & mediation, Good negotiation skill – essential
    • Creative & Strategic thinking skills
    Experience in product lifecycle management

  1. This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Hwaseong, Korea (the Republic of) (KR). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
  2. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our (insert organization here) in Hwaseong, Korea (the Republic of) (KR).
  3. This role is fully remote and employed through our legal entity in Hwaseong, Korea (the Republic of) (KR). Other locations may be possible to review.
