Regional Holding Controller Latin America

We are looking for a Regional Controller in Sorocaba and Itu area, to play a key role in strengthening our finance organization across Latin America.
This is a highly visible regional position covering nine countries and serving as a strategic link between Latin America and the Group Business Control function.
Working closely with senior leadership, the Regional Controller will drive financial governance, support business performance, promote best practices, and contribute to the development of a strong regional finance community.
Based in Brazil and reporting directly to the Vice President of Atlas Copco Holding Latin America, this role offers broad exposure to international operations, cross-border projects, M&A activities, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the region.
What You Will Own
- Be the leading regional voice for Group initiatives — supporting their adoption across all Latin American markets;
- Coordinate and animate the regional Business Controller network, building a strong community aligned on best practices, risks, and opportunities;
- Lead Group reporting consolidation for selected countries;
- Execute Holding cost control for entities where the Holding is present;
- Be part of the M&A processes, cross-border projects, and complex financial initiatives across the region;
- Maintain strong oversight of tax and statutory compliance across nine countries, working with local Business Controllers;
- Contribute to audits and risk management, promoting transparency and a culture of compliance;
- Identify and drive regional synergy projects — locally initiated, bottom-up ideas from Business Leaders and teams that create value across the region through shared expertise and cross-border collaboration;
- Support capability building across the regional finance organization.
The Region You Will Cover
Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a diverse and dynamic region, operating across multiple legal entities, regulatory environments, and business contexts.
To succeed, you will need
- Senior background in corporate finance, controlling, or audit in a multinational setting;
- Track record of working across multiple countries or legal entities;
- Languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English.
- Skilled at influencing without authority and navigating complex stakeholder environments;
- Be self-driven professional and be comfortable with hands-on execution;

Job location
Hybrid work model: This opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to combine remote and in-person work located in Barueri - SP, Brazil. It's important to note that the office is expected to move to Itu - SP, Brazil in 2027.
