Your role

As a Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive sales growth for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.

Short Description

Drive sales growth in the assigned area by managing and building customer relationships, finding new customers, and achieving targets through direct and indirect channel. Handle inquiries, generate proposals, ensure timely orders and payments, and use Sales Force tools while working closely with internal teams to support delivery and after-sales service.
 
 

Your day-to-day

  • Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers, as well as cross, up, and repeat sales to existing customers.
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
  • Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Develop medium-to-long-term sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with your targeted customers.
  • Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs.

 

Your skills and experience

  • You have 5 - 10 years of experience, working as a Sales Engineer of high quality industrial machines
  • Knowledge in Compressed Air System will be highly considered 
  • Able to operate Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills 
  • Have a good command of written and spoken English

Your location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our PT Atlas Copco Indonesia office in Jakarta, Indonesia.
