Your Role

We are seeking an ambitious, dynamic, and motivated Sales Engineer to drive sales in the Indonesian market. The role reports to Business Line Manager AUI and IDC

 Job Purpose 

The mission is to proactively drive and grow sales in the Indonesian and Australian markets, You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding long-term, strategic relationships with both new and existing customers, while actively identifying market opportunities to maximize business potential

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Market and sell the complete Atlas Copco Tools product portfolio to customers.
  • Develop new accounts and maintain existing ones, ensuring alignment with Atlas Copco’s business strategy.
  • Proactively manage CRM activities to support sales operations and customer follow-up.
  • Implement and execute sales plans and strategies in the assigned regions.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers and expand the professional network.
  • Respond to technical and application inquiries and educate stakeholders on product usage and solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to key decision makers.
  • Educate and develop customer networks to be more self-sufficient in digital order processing.
  • Execute all sales processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

·        Strong ability to identify and anticipate customer needs and industry trends.

·        Motivated, proactive, and highly organized.

·        Skilled in business case analysis and strategic thinking.

·        Proficient with Salesforce (or other CRM platforms) for customer management.

·        Solid understanding of business strategy with operational implementation skills.

·        Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities with a win-win approach.

·        Experienced in technical product training and stakeholder education.

·        Capable of building customer networks and empowering self-management.

·        In-depth knowledge of company structure, strategy, and resources.


Knowledge

 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM system).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

 

Education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related industry.

Experience

 

  • ·        3–5 years’ experience in technical or industrial product sales.
  • ·        Proven track record in new business development and account management.
  • ·        Strong experience in field sales, customer visits, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
  • ·        Familiar with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and basic sales reporting.
  • ·        Capable of identifying customer needs, providing solutions, and achieving sales targets.
  • ·        Experience in conducting product training or technical presentations to customers.
  • ·        Exposure to digital tools for order processing and customer engagement is an advantage.
