Your role
• To provide technical service and support to our customers, through regular on-site visits, providing repairs and tool calibrations.
• Working as part of the Atlas Copco Service team, to continuously improve our customer satisfaction.
• To provide Repairs and Field Service Support on Industrial Power Tooling including Electronic, Pneumatic handheld and fixtured tools.
• To provide the customer with technical support during breakdowns, over the phone and when required on site.
• To conduct regular customer visits providing technical support, assistance, and guidance as and when required.
• To maintain records of all activities.
• To carry out calibrations and preventative maintenance tasks on a scheduled and planned basis, according to laboratory and ISO procedures.
• To plan, manage and carry out the installation of our equipment at the customers premises.
• To ensure all repair and calibration workshop documentation is completed correctly and up to date.
• To provide written reports on repairs and incidents as requested by management or the customer.
• To provide advice and feedback to the customer on the use of their equipment.
• To work as part of a team with our sales representatives and the customer to help address any support and technical issues.
To succeed, you will need
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to take ownership and provide value added solutions to our customers.
• Motivated, self-starter, and organized.
• Flexibility in being able to respond to the customers’ demands – this will involve early starts and late finishes, as well as occasionally attending plant outside normal hours, in an emergency response capacity.
• Clean driving license.
• Engineering Diploma/Degree or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
