Your role

  • Lead workforce planning and ensure staffing levels meet business needs in strong collaboration with management team and hiring managers.
  • Making sure a strong recruitment practice is implemented aiming for hiring first time right with attention for the capacity plan, hiring plan and the employer branding plan.  
  • Support leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential talent programs.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the management team, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Manage employee relations matters and advise and guide managers on disciplinary processes in line with labour legislation and our Disciplinary code.
  • Analyse and reporting on HR metrics to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Manage performance management process and support managers with goal setting, feedback and development discussions.
  • Develop and maintain a competitive compensation strategy aligned with market benchmarks.
  • Lead HR transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, technology adoption, and employee experience.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for Customer and Business Review Board meetings.
  • Promote and embed “The Way We Do Things” across all people processes.

To succeed, you will need

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of South African Employment Law (BCEA, LRA. EE, Skills Development).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate systems.
  • Experience working on SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
