Your role

As a Workshop Technician, your mission is to provide high-quality service, maintenance, and repair of Atlas Copco Industrial Technique equipment (e.g. pneumatic tools, electric assembly tools, torque systems, and controllers) in a workshop setting, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will report to the Calibration Laboratory Manager.

 

You will

•    Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Atlas Copco industrial tools and systems including pneumatic, electric, and battery-operated tools.
•    Calibrate and test torque tools and controllers to ensure compliance with specifications.
•    Perform preventive maintenance and refurbishment of customer equipment.
•    Accurately record service activities, parts usage, and test results.
•    Complete service reports and update internal systems (e.g. SAP, Spirit).
•    Follow Atlas Copco quality standards and safety procedures.
•    Ensure tools are repaired to OEM specifications and tested before release.
•    Provide technical feedback and support to customers when required.
•    Collaborate with field service engineers and sales teams to resolve customer issues.
•    Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and products.
•    Suggest improvements to workshop processes and service delivery.

To succeed, you will need

Education:
•    Technical diploma or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering or mechatronics.
•    Experience with torque tools, controllers, and calibration equipment is highly desirable.


Skills:
•    Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
•    Familiarity with calibration standards and measurement systems.
•    Basic computer skills (MS Office, SAP, CRM).
•    Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Requirements:
•    Ability to lift and handle tools and equipment up to 25 kg.
•    Comfortable working in workshop environments with frequent standing, bending, and tool handling.
•    Valid driver’s license (if occasional field support is required).
•    Fluent in English (spoken and written).
•    Willingness to work overtime or shifts when needed.
