Your role

•    Sale of all Low-Pressure Compressor Technique products or any other CT products that might be required.
•    Maintain and increase market share of designated areas.
•    Identify all Low-Pressure business and applications, new and old within South Africa
•    To meet targets set out for designated area.
•    Promote company image, service, spares and sales.
•    Service Distributors in designated area to support the Atlas Copco Low Pressure products.
•    Develop and explore new channels to market including but not limited to Distributors and Re-sellers.
•    Liaise with Business Managers, Distributors, Product Managers, Logistics and Service on latest products and technology trends.
•    To conduct business within the Atlas Copco guidelines.
•    To support sales through the effective provision of sales data including the timely recording of visits and action reports and analysis of sales performance against targets.
•    To follow the sales process from lead generation to Equipment delivery/Operation
•    To promote good customer relations.
•    To cover designated area effectively.
•    To ensure optimum distributor performance to conduct business within the Atlas Copco guidelines.
•    Report and capture competitor installed base.
•    Effective use of the Atlas Copco CRM system – previous SAP experience will be an advantage.

To succeed, you will need

•    Grade 12.
•    Marketing Qualification.
•    Previous Technical Sales Experience required – Experience in Compressor sales will be a benefit.
•    Good understanding of all Low-Pressure applications, processes and requirements is key to this position.
•    Skills to develop and promote all Atlas Copco products with a major key focus on developing and growing the Low-Pressure market, Increasing Market-share by covering the market more effectively. 
•    Area/Territory, able to develop the territory through effective management.
•    Self-Time management.
•    Computer literacy.
•    Good negotiating skills.
•    Team player.
•    Good Interpersonal Skills.
•    Valid driver’s licence.
•    Good presentation skills.
•    Self-motivated and driven to success through self-study of the Atlas Copco products.
•    Willing to travel as and when required.
