Internal Sales Representative - Motor Vehicle Industry (MVI)
Your role
In your role as an Internal Sales Representative within the Motor Vehicle Industry team at Atlas Copco, you will be central to our mission of driving revenue and ensuring exceptional customer engagement.
You will:
- Relieve field sales representatives from transactional sales duties.
- Proactively drive revenue growth through innovative strategies that emphasize long-term profitability and sustainable business development.
- Be able to independently sell Atlas Copco's standard product and service range where the need for customer contact on site is not mandatory.
- Accelerate Ecom sales by promoting user adoption and sales via our Smart portal, while onboarding and training both distributors and direct customers.
- Surpass the annual sales targets set for the Sub-Saharan region, showcasing your ability to exceed company expectations.
- Identify opportunities for expanding outgoing quotes, contributing to our administrative responsibilities and enhancing sales potential.
- Build technical expertise to adeptly manage various stages of the sales cycle remotely, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with customers through telephone and digital channels, highlighting your commitment to customer service.
- Utilize our CRM system daily to maintain accurate customer data, track visits, comments, quotes, and foster better sales strategies.
- Participate in seminars, exhibitions, and marketing activities to promote our products and services whilst enhancing brand visibility.
- Ensure optimal and efficient territory coverage.
- Contribute to the formulation of dynamic business plans and sales strategies to meet ambitious targets and adapt to market shifts.

• A university or college qualification, particularly with a specialization in technical or marketing fields, is preferred.
• Fluency in English is essential for effective communication.

• Sales experience is an advantage and will be beneficial to your role.
• Familiarity with assembly tools and fastening techniques is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is expected.
• Experience with CRM tools is essential to manage customer relations effectively.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
• A passion for sales, along with a dynamic, results-oriented mindset, is highly desirable.

Job location
This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Jetpark, Gauteng, South Africa. You will be part of a vibrant team that thrives on collaboration, sharing ideas, and driving successful outcomes through face-to-face interactions and teamwork.
