Manufacturing Engineer (174414)

Your role

- Develop and improve assembly, testing, and packaging processes to reduce labor and costs through standardization and analysis.
- Design or enhance jigs, fixtures, error-proofing devices, and tools; manage requirements, drawings, risk assessments, prototypes, and revisions.
- Select, implement, and manage hand and power tools for assembly lines, including torque and fastening tools.
- Establish inspection, calibration, maintenance, repair, and replacement systems to ensure tool availability and process capability.
- Provide daily production-line technical support; analyze factors to reduce downtime, rework, scrap, and recurring issues.
- Participate in new product introductions and design changes; assess manufacturability and plan process flow, capacity, manpower, equipment, and tooling.
- Create and maintain process flows, work instructions, tool lists, inspection specifications, control plans, training materials, and engineering change records.
- Apply lean manufacturing, time study, line balancing, single-piece flow, error-proofing, and continuous improvement to optimize layout, material flow, ergonomics, and processes.
- Lead manufacturing engineering projects; collaborate with Production, Quality, R&D, Purchasing, suppliers, and global teams; report progress, risks, and results.

To succeed, you will need

- Bachelor degree or higher in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or related field
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, equipment, or assembly processes
- Basic mechanical design and engineering drawing skills
- Basic AutoCAD skills to review and modify process, tooling, or layout drawings
- Knowledge of hand, electric, pneumatic, or torque tools used in assembly
- Ability to create and maintain work instructions, tool specifications, inspection standards, training materials, and change documents
- Skilled in problem-solving, continuous improvement, and cross-functional coordination
- Ability to train production staff on new processes, tooling, and tool use
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency for technical documents, emails, and meetings

Job location

Option 1: On-Site
