Sales Manager - Oil Free Air

Your role
As a Sales Manager within our Oil Free Air Division, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable sales growth and strengthening customer relationships. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will collaborate closely with our engineering, product development, and customer support teams to align technical knowledge with client needs, ensuring optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.
Your core responsibilities will encompass:
- Proactively engaging with prospective and existing clients through both face-to-face and virtual interactions to identify opportunities and present tailored solutions across our expansive oil-free compressor portfolio.
- Conducting thorough needs assessments to understand customer challenges and requirements, enabling you to recommend suitable products, services, and innovative system integrations.
- Delivering compelling sales presentations and detailed product demonstrations that highlight the technical advantages and efficiency benefits of our offerings.
- Devising and implementing strategic sales plans targeting medium to long-term business growth, with a focus on protecting and expanding accounts within key industrial sectors such as Semiconductors, Food & Beverage, and General Industries.
- Working hand-in-hand with product management and engineering to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives, incorporating customer feedback to influence product enhancements and service improvements.
- Leading business development initiatives including sales coverage expansion and competency development to support the broader mission and market penetration of OFA.
- Identifying new replacement and upgrade opportunities within the core OFA product range, promoting our advancements in compressors, air treatment, process cooling, and energy conversion technologies.

- Demonstrated success in sales and marketing within an industrial environment, ideally with experience in technical machinery or complex product portfolios.
- Familiarity with key sectors such as Semiconductors, Food & Beverage, or General Industries is advantageous but not mandatory.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in industrial machinery sales, exhibiting a strong understanding of client needs and market dynamics.
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to comfortably navigate technical specifications and support product customization initiatives.
- Proficiency in computer applications and excellent command of English to communicate effectively across international teams and clients.
- Well-developed presentation, business writing, negotiation, socializing, and selling skills to build rapport, convey technical details clearly, and close sales opportunities.

Job location
This position is based on-site within the Johor Territory, providing the opportunity to engage directly with local and regional customers and teams. The role entails regional travel aligned with business needs and close connection with our customer center operations in Malaysia, facilitating hands-on collaboration and service excellence.
