Project Leader Engineering (w/m/d)

Your role
As a Project Leader, your mission is to lead the development of new vacuum products for thrilling applications alongside the product roadmap. You will drive projects ensuring the design meets market requirements, performance, and cost targets and are delivered in time & budget.
Short Description
Your responsibilities
You will collaborate extensively across interdisciplinary teams to guide new product developments through the established Product Creation Process (PCP) framework, with key focus on the following:
Project Planning & Execution

- Estimate timelines, budgets, and technical risks for NPI projects
- Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation actions to support project plans
- Track technical progress and escalate schedule, cost, or performance issues
Requirements & Product Development

- Translate Marketing Requirements into clear Product/Engineering Specifications
- Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure requirements are understood and delivered
- Support design reviews to confirm compliance with functional, regulatory, and customer needs
Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain complete, accurate Technical Construction Files (TCF)
- Support creation of manuals, safety documentation, and regulatory submissions (e.g., CE, UL)
- Prepare formal test reports documenting objectives, methods, setups, results, and conclusions

- Demonstrate Project management experience, preferably within an engineering, electronics, or product development environment (3 years+)
- Essential to demonstrate ability to plan and deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives
- Essential to demonstrate ability to priorities multiple activities and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels internally and externally Able to plan, estimate, and report on work progress
- Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
- Ability to monitor project performance and communicate progress, risks, issues, and KPIs to management
- Fluent written and spoken German & English
- Experience or in-depth understanding on rotary machinery, experience with vacuum pump is preferable
