Lead with Purpose. Drive Safety, Quality, and Sustainability Across Europe.
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on SHEQ Manager to lead our Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality efforts across offices, workshops and field service locations of the EMEA Customer Center. This high-profile role offers full ownership of the SHEQ strategy and delivery for a diverse, safety-critical, and fast-paced industrial environment.

You’ll functionally lead a network of local SHEQ managers and support a team of ~250 employees across multiple countries—driving a world-class culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your Impact

• Shape Strategy: Define and deliver the EMEA Customer Center SHEQ strategy, aligned with Atlas Copco’s global standards and ISO certifications (45001, 14001, 9001)
• Lead & Influence: Functionally manage regional SHEQ managers and collaborate with local leaders to embed a proactive, inclusive safety culture.
• Drive Excellence: Lead audits, risk assessments, and behavioral safety programs. Ensure compliance, reduce risks, and improve SHEQ performance across all sites.
• Engage & Empower: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across Europe, fostering collaboration and accountability at all levels.
• Champion Sustainability: Promote environmentally responsible practices and support our journey toward a carbon-free future.

To succeed, you will need:

• Extensive experience leading SHEQ programs in large, matrixed, and international environments.
• Proven success in delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, and environmental performance.
• Strong knowledge of SHEQ regulations, ISO standards, and management systems (ACMS experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across cultures and organizational levels.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset with strong time management, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
• Professional qualifications in SHEQ management.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Europe.
