(Roles)

  • Monitor safety and safe behaviors within the zone, ensuring compliance with all safety principles, managing and analyzing risk assessments and internal safety regulations. Report all safety incidents (e.g., lost time accidents, medical cases) within 24 hours.

  • Manage regular zone safety training and introduce weekly safety topics within the zone.

  • Perform daily checks of available equipment in the zone.

  • Manage absenteeism and overtime within the zone.

  • Ensure PPE is properly defined and used according to established procedures (HS2).

  • Responsible for updating ITP documents and leading periodic (monthly) zone audits; execute actions based on RCE (Risk Control Element) audits.

  • Ensure ISO 9001 compliance within the zone.

  • Manage calibration of tools used in the zone.

  • Actively participate in 6S implementation, guide the team to follow established rules, support process improvement activities, and manage KAIZEN initiatives.

  • Ensure SIMS (Short Interval Management System) reports are published daily.

  • Collaborate with planners based on weekly requests to create daily plans, monitor repair order progress, and take corrective actions to meet deadlines. Ensure OTD (On-Time Delivery) and TAT (Turnaround Time) metrics are met.

  • Plan required staffing based on order forecasts.

  • Lead daily zone meetings (SIM 2 meetings) and participate in SIM 3 daily meetings.

  • Provide coverage for long-term absences by fostering flexibility within the team, managing overtime and annual leave. Coach and support direct reports to develop skills and plan career growth. Guide and evaluate team performance.

  • Enter and monitor information and data in SAP to ensure accuracy.

  • Ensure adherence to and implementation of VTPS rules and standards.

 

(Skills)

  • Diploma or certificate in technical education, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing electrical and mechanical systems; experience in the semiconductor industry is a strong plus

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics; knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment used in pumps or vacuum applications

  • Capable of guiding, motivating, and supervising zone team members to achieve goals

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

  • Understanding of basic VTPS elements and ability to lead SIM2 meetings

  • Actively resolve problems using VTPS problem-solving tools within the team

  • Ensure production is completed on time and according to standards

  • Proficient in English

  • Computer literate and able to use Windows-based software
