Your role

As a Sales Engineer – Energy & Petrochemical, you will drive sales growth by delivering engineered compressor and gas generation solutions tailored to customer needs. You’ll collaborate closely with our Application Engineering and Product Management teams to provide technically sound, cost-effective solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with Atlas Copco’s values and culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers (EPCs and end users such as Saudi Aramco, SABIC, KOC, KNPC, etc.) in the assigned territory.
  • Promote Atlas Copco’s portfolio of engineered Air Compressors, Air Treatment, and Gas Generator solutions within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical markets.
  • Collaborate with Application and Product Management teams to review customer requirements, develop proposals, and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Participate in tenders from FEED to execution phase, ensuring both technical compliance and commercial competitiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable commercial terms and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop installed base data and identify upgrade and replacement opportunities.
  • Maintain updated vendor registration and ensure accurate CRM (C4C) reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations highlighting technical features and customer value.

To succeed, you will need

Qualifications, Experience & Core Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or application of rotating equipment within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Air Compressors, Air Dryers, and Gas Generators; familiarity with Industry  standards related to Compressors ,Dryers , Nitrogen Generators .
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
