Product Sales Specialist

Your role
The role comprises direct sales, as well as providing technical assistance to the Ireland Sales Manager and our local distributor salespeople.
The role focuses on Assembly Process Solutions (APS) – which are the software, vision, automation products that complement Atlas Copco’s smart assembly tools. These solutions make our customers’ assembly processes more productive, error-free and higher quality.
The target customer industries are medical device, life sciences and electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
Further develop profitable sales of Atlas Copco products within a defined area:
The territory is primarily the Republic of Ireland, covering South Leinster, Munster and Connacht to support existing accounts and grow new business. From time-to-time accounts in the North of Ireland may require attendance as well.
- In conjunction with the Ireland Sales Manager and our local distribution, ensure coverage for both current and prospect customers to achieve growth.
- Provide high-level technical assistance to customers in pre-sale activities, such as product presentations, seminars and demonstrations
- Leverage technical knowledge from within the company, including our team of technical experts, Marketing team and Inside salespeople.
- Identify key decision-makers and assist in mapping the territory
- Target specific customer groups for new product introductions.
- Manage your sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
- Prepare proposals and calculate sales prices.
- Keep good communication with the support office in Hemel Hempstead and the Project & Service teams in WolverhamptonSupport Distribution development in the field-based area. We have one major distributor in the region.
- Be able to communicate effectively internally and with all levels of customers

You will need a good level of education, and 2+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
A self motivated individual, who is able to plan and prioritise your own workload, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
You will need to interpret technical specifications, analyse challenges in assembly processes and develop solutions to address customer needs.

Job location
This is a field based role, with regular travel within your designated territory
