Your role

As a Field Service Technician at Atlas Copco Compressor AB, your mission is to keep our customers’ compressed air systems running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and occasionally handle refurbishments. Most of your work will be carried out independently at customer sites within your district, but you may also support colleagues in other parts of the region when needed.
You’ll drive from home and be part of a supportive team of technicians and report to your Service Manager.
You will
- Conduct planned and emergency service visits to inspect, maintain, and repair air compressors and related systems.
- Diagnose issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Be the face of Atlas Copco on-site – providing service recommendations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with technical developments through continuous learning.
To succeed, you will need

- Experience in one or more of the following: mechanics, electrical, electronics, or automotive technology.
- A customer-focused mindset and strong communication skills.
- A structured and responsible approach to work – you enjoy solving problems and taking initiative.
- A valid driver’s license (B).
- Good computer skills – you’re comfortable working digitally.
- Fluency in Swedish and good knowledge of English.
- A refrigeration license is a plus, but not required.

Job location
This role is based in Kungälv or the northern part of the Gothenburg region. You’ll work from home and travel to customer sites in your area, with occasional support in nearby regions.
