Your Role

BeaconMedaes is seeking a Service Sales Representative to support and strengthen customer relationships in the Michigan and Ohio area. This role is essential in maintaining the company's reputation for excellence in medical gas equipment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for customer service, ensuring BeaconMedaes remains the first choice for healthcare facilities.


This position offers a hybrid work environment, balancing time between a home office and onsite visits to healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will maintain a professional image, uphold BeaconMedaes' core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation, and take proactive steps to enhance the company’s reputation


Primary Responsibilities:

Aftermarket Sales (90%)
•    Prospect, source, and maintain quality customers in the assigned area.
•    Develop action plans and schedules to achieve or exceed sales goals.
•    Manage, call on, and sell aftermarket services directly to customers.
•    Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity.
•    Maintain regular contact with existing and new customers, especially key accounts.
•    Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide service solutions.
•    Introduce new products and service upgrades to enhance customer experience.
•    Study customer needs and coordinate effective customer service strategies.
•    Engage in planned prospecting activities to expand the customer base.
•    Prepare and present sales materials, exhibits, and promotional programs.
•    Attend exhibits, conferences, and industry events to represent BeaconMedaes.
•    Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing, and contract renewals.
•    Oversee customer service quality checks and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
•    Maintain a professional image while upholding company values.

Personal Development (5%)
•    Stay updated on aftermarket products and sales strategies through education.
•    Engage in professional networking and industry organizations.
•    Obtain and maintain medical gas credentials relevant to the role.

Reporting (5%)
•    Prepare reports on sales activity, lost orders, and performance vs. budget.
•    Provide updates on competitive developments and market trends.
•    Attend and participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly territory meetings.


Perform other duties assigned.

 
To succeed, you will need  

Experience
•    3 years of relevant industrial sales experience, preferably in the medical gas industry.

Education
•    Bachelor’s Degree-with business or marketing background or equivalent.

Skills
•    Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
•    Must have proven business analytical skills
•    Must be able to manage multiple priorities with flexibility, a positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service
•    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
•    Must be highly customer focused with the ability to work under pressure and to work by yourself without constant supervision
•    Must be willing to work overtime and a flexible schedule
•    Self-directed
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
•    Ability to motivate others
•    Trustworthy, honest, responsible
