At Atlas Copco Ireland Ltd, we’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Field Service Engineer to join our team. Based in Leinster, you’ll train and develop over a four-year period, working alongside experienced engineers while studying toward a National Framework Qualification (NFQ) in Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting.
What You'll Be Doing:

Working hands-on with our qualified service engineers in the field to gain valuable, real-world experience

Servicing and maintaining industrial equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

Ordering and managing spare parts for service orders, liaising with internal teams

Completing external assessments and modules in line with your apprenticeship programme

Carrying out installation, maintenance, and workshop practices

Engaging in classroom-based learning blocks as part of your structured training
Your Development Journey Will Include:

What We're Looking For:

Minimum of a Grade D in five Junior Certificate subjects (or equivalent)

An interest and basic understanding of mechanical or engineering processes

A full, clean driving licence (held for at least 1 year)

Willingness to travel or study away from home during parts of the apprenticeship

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

A strong communicator and team player
