Your role

The scope of the job is to work globally with the Industrial Flow Division and locally leading and developing the LEWA Academy being the biggest legal entity in the division.

The function includes the creation and provision of professional and up‑to‑date training materials for local trainers worldwide. This role acts as the interface between the trainer pool and the Instructional Design team. In addition, collaboration with the technical departments (e.g. Engineering) within IFD is required in order to obtain the necessary technical input for the materials.

As a (Master) Trainer for the training program, the role works closely and independently with local trainers in day‑to‑day operations, communicates requirements to the Instructional Design Team, and independently supports the local trainers in delivering professional on‑site training sessions. To continuously improve training methods, the job holder will conduct technical and non‑technical training sessions and occasionally act as a co‑trainer for the local trainer teams.

  • Design, develop, and maintain global training concepts and materials for Service, Sales, and related target groups, including technical, product, and soft-skill topics.
  • Conceptualize and deliver structured induction programs, segment-specific trainings (e.g. Food & Beverage), and mandatory internal trainings for the IFD Academy, including assessments and final testing.
  • Develop and support training content for new products (NPI) and evolving service requirements.
  • Select, qualify, and support internal trainers; act as advisor and role model for local trainer teams.
  • Conduct internal and customer training programs, including key formats such as LEWA Day within Pump Engineering events, ensuring evaluation and invoicing where applicable.
  • Manage and continuously improve LEWA Knowledge Management for PCs and CCs, including maintenance of Orange World academy content.
  • Coordinate learning and qualification activities with technical departments, Learning & Development, Global Service Setup, Atlas Copco offices, and Customer Centers to ensure global alignment and quality standards.
  • Lead the rollout of new training content, methodologies, and platforms across the academies.

  • Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience in technical field, e.g. engineering degree, technical profession with a focus on teaching / pedagogy
  • Minimum 7 years professional level experience in Organizational Development in an intermediate to large size organization, preferably in an international corporation with decentralized functions or metrics
  • Experience in managing projects and developing and conducting training workshops from conception and organization to their implementation and evaluation
  • Affinity for digital learning formats and modern learning technologies
  • Technical understanding and teh ability to prepare complex content in a way that is appropriate for the tar
  • Relevant management experience
  • Experienced in processes such as organizational development, change management, talent management performance management training, project management, coaching and mentoring as well as engagement surveys
  • Experience in conception and delivery of Sales and/or technical trainings advantageous
  • Familiar with working in an international, multi-brand organization and with working with senior management
  • Knowledge of modern learning technologies and didactic concepts
  • Very good skills of M365 programs

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our LEWA Product Company and Customer Center in Leonberg, Germany (DE).
