Cryogenic Sales Engineer

Your role
As a Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive sales growth for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.
You will
- Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers, as well as cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
- Deliver sales pressentations and conduct product demonstrations.
- Develop medium to long-term sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with your targeted customers.
- Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs.

-Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, physics, materials science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
-5-8 years’ experience of customer-facing roles with a minimum of 3 years in a sales role.
-Prior experience selling technical and/or scientific products with long sales cycles.
-Demonstrated history of meeting quota and growing sales in an assigned territory.
Competencies or Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s):
Able to act as an ambassador for Montana Instruments product vision to both the internal team and external customers.
Able to collect and analyze customer feedback, competitive analysis, and industry trends.
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively negotiate with a broad range of audiences.
High attention to detail.
Ability to effectively lead teams and people.
Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work independently.
Able to prioritize tasks in demanding situations.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Salesforce.com.

Job location
This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from anywhere within the region of London, while being associated with our customer center in United Kingdom (GB).
