Senior Specialist Manufacturing Technology (f/m/d)

Your role

Your mission is to lead the project management towards implementing new manufacturing technologies within machining and assembly processes for the Scientific Vacuum Division. You will report to the Head of Operational Excellence.

• You will guide our manufacturing technology experts across the factories to develop the road map for manufacturing technology innovations by examining the potentials of new technologies

• Together with the factory teams, you lead the Proof of Concepts for new technologies ensuring the internal knowledge transfer

• You will screen the market for new technologies and will support teams in factories and divisional engineering during New Product Introductions at feasibility reviews for new processes

• You will implement operational projects within the division to create synergy in our manufacturing footprint regarding new and in place manufacturing technologies to improve production cost, product quality, lead time and safety

• You create a culture of knowledge and best practise sharing by creating adequate communication platforms

   

To succeed, you'll need:

• You have a bachelor or a master degree in mechanical engineering (or materials, automation, electronics, industrial engineering) or equivalent through experience

• You have 4+ years of experience in process development in a manufacturing environment and experience in CNC-machining processes are preferable

• You are keen on implementing new ideas and you are always searching for opportunities to improve today’s processes

• You consider yourself analytical and like to find solutions

• You are a team player who grows in collaboration and building your network

• You are fluent in English and will travel on an ad hoc-basis

Job Location

We are a global team working in a hybrid model. For this role we can offer you a location in Lutin (Czech Republic) or in Cologne (Germany) #LI-Hybrid
