Sales Engineer - Lyon

Your role
As a Senior Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive sales growth in France Southwest (Rhônes-Alpes, Switzerland French part) for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You will report to the egional Sales Manager and work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.
You will
- Follow, implement the country strategic and tactical plan, and execute the activity plans in the territory under your responsibility.
- Achieve and overcome the annual targets for the territory under your responsibility.
- Drive equipment market share growth year on year.
- Retain existing customers and expand the product portfolio sold to them
- Prospect and win new customers in the prioritised market sectors: General Industrial (OEM, End users), R&D, Scientific Instruments
- Report any customer contact / visit and any customer / market information through the tools made available (for example CRM)
- Report and update the project pipeline through the tools made available in timely manner to help sales manager and BLMs to provide to the Divisions good financial and product forecasting
- Gain a clear idea of market price and work with your line manager to position our product pricing in agreement with Value Price management
- Provide and report information from competitors activities in your territory

- You have 5 - 7 years of experience, working in technical sales, with a significant portion within the vacuum technology industry
- Education level : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, Physics) or a closely related technical field
- Knowledges/Skills : Commercial hunting attitude, Autonomous, Dynamic, Team Worker, Positive, CRM, MS Office
- Other requirements : French(writting/speaking), English fluent, frequent travelling (60%), location Rhones Alpes (Lyon or Grenoble Area)

Job location
This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from anywhere within the region of Lyon, Grenoble area, while being associated with our customer center in France (FR).
