Mission

Chicago Pneumatic is a worldwide leader for air tools in different markets, such as Industry & Maintenance. As part of a replacement, we are looking for a Global Product Marketing Manager to drive our “Material Removal” applications within the Chicago Pneumatic business line.
 

Reporting to the Global Business Development Manager in charge of Industrial markets, your main missions will be to drive the sales and profitability globally on your perimeter by analyzing markets’ and customers’ needs, defining future solutions and product gaps in line with our strategy, guide our R&D department to develop innovative global solutions, and promote the product range through the sales network.

 

The Role

  • Become the expert on the products in the range
  • Acquire strong knowledge on markets, applications and customers
  • Build a vision and roadmap on defined perimeter
  • Manage the product life cycle & define the product range
  • Follow-up product development with R&D team and secure that the deliverables match the master specifications set and the customer needs
  • Develop and deploy efficiently launch packages of new products
  • Support transverse marketing activities on your perimeter (training of salesforce, acquisition, communication, etc.)
  • Marketing activities/Sales support to customer centers both through global initiatives and local activities on regular basis
  • Joint visits of customers with the sales force
  • Measure and develop the customer share that we currently enjoy
  • Logistic management by defining stock guidance and optimizing local/global stock

 

The position will require frequent travelling globally.

What we expect of you? 

Focused on marketing, you have ideally an international experience and present a good knowledge about our business, especially within the metalworking and the abrasives industries. You are creative and innovative, willing to drive new products generation on industrial applications and customers’ environment. We are looking for a person with good communication skills, open to work in matrix organization. Leadership, change management and communication will be key to success in this role. In addition, you are outgoing, driven, proactive, structured and a team player; You contribute to the development of the company's Topflight values by being collaborative, open-minded, resourceful and entrepreneurial
