Chicago Pneumatic is a worldwide leader for air tools in different markets, such as Industry & Automotive Maintenance. The Chicago Pneumatic Tools division is managing a brand name dedicated to Vehicle Service and Maintenance Repair Operations called Rodcraft. To drive our development and future growth within the Rodcraft business we are looking for a Product Marketing Manager. Reporting directly to the Business Line Manager in Central Europe with close connection to the Global Business Development Manager Vehicle Service, you will be part of the global management team and drive the sales and profitability globally for the involved product range.

Your future responsibilites:

  • You are responsible for the Portfolio Management during the whole product lifecycle, from the development and deployment of launch packages until the management of the phase out
  • You regularly define product range gaps and needs, guide our R&D and Sourcing departments to develop innovative global solutions, and provide inputs for efficient processes for strategy implementation and execution
  • You analyze target markets with a special focus on Central Europe , the competitive environment and customer needs, and take care of according Marketing activities, such as global initiatives as well as local promotions
  • You support and train our global Sales force, show your expertise in joint visits of customers and guarantee the sharing of best practices
  • You regularly report key indicators and milestones throughout projects and are in close connection with the Headquarter in Nantes as well as our Customer Centers
  • After developing and releasing new product ranges in all Customer Centers; for Central Europe, you’re in charge of launching new products with all supports worked in collaboration with the sales and communication teams
  • You define and analyze generation plan of all product ranges and ensure profitability according to objectives of the strategy

 

 

Your current profile:

  • You are holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Engineering or any other relevant field
  • You have a very good command of the German and English language (additional language like French and Dutch  will be a plus)
  • You have business development and marketing experience, ideally with product distribution background specially in vehicle service – Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO)
  • You have proven sales experience, ideally within the compressed air industry, and / or Vehicle Service - MRO Power Tool Business
  • You are self-motivated, able to motivate and lead a team, and capable to work in an international environment
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills as well as good standard of presentation skills
  • You are highly motivated to face challenges to reach assigned targets
  • You are willing to frequently travel, mostly in Europe
