Sales Application Engineer - Life Science Installations

Your role

The Sales Application Engineer's mission is to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction in the life science business area.

Areas of responsibility

• Sales leads planning and reporting
• System Design
• Product Selection, ordering and fulfilment.
• Contract oversight
• Project delivery medium/long term

Core Responsibilities conducted  

Create technical proposals and provide application advice.

Relay customer needs and market trends back to product development.

Explain complex product features and how they solve specific customer problems.

Conduct technical demos, proofs of concept (POCs), and proofs of value (POVs).

Troubleshooting, and optimising UGP on project installations

To succeed, you will need

You will need 3+ years of experience in mechanical sytems and experience in site working, including tendering processes.

Key Skills required

Strong engineering and sales background (mechanical, electrical, etc.).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Interpersonal skills for building customer relationships. 

Output measurement

Builds customer confidence by proving the product works in their environment.

Increases sales effectiveness by removing technical roadblocks.

Drives product improvement through direct customer feedback.

Job location

This position is based in our Markham Vale offices, with travel to customer sites across the UK.
