Interested in being part of our team?  At Atlas Copco Vacuum North America, the role of the Customer Care Representative is critical in ensuring an exceptional experience for both new and existing customers.

As an Customer Care Representative, you will play a crucial role in . You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with both existing and prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products/services, and ultimately closing deals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a significant contribution to our customers. As part of the team you will report to the Customer Care Team Lead. 

Your role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will report to Customer Service Team Lead.

  • You will provide customer support in all phases of the sales process, from quotation to payment.
  • You will process customer orders and check for accuracy.
  • You will provide follow-up on orders as needed.
  • You will process electronic invoicing.
  • You will communicate with customers and help direct questions and concerns. 
  • You will support the sales teams.
  • You will answer questions concerning shipping, pricing, and availability.
  • You will follow up situations to ensure the problem has been solved.
  • You will digitally file system orders, cancelations, and quotes.
  • You will ensure accuracy of order tracking procedures and assembling required documentation.
  • You will provide accurate and timely updates to all interested parties.
  • You will perform other tasks as assigned. 

Job location

We are a local team, working in an on-site model. We have offices in Michigan City, IN.

What we expect of you?

  • You are a high school graduate or equivalent

  • You have 2+ years of experience in Customer Service within manufacturing or service section operation.

  • You have experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP.

  • You can interact with customers, distributors and team members.

  • You excel in interpreting and responding to customer requests.

  • You have intermediate to advanced computer skills and are able to work under pressure.

  • You have an excellent phone demeanor.

  • You can make decisions based on the best interest of the company.

  • You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
