Your role

Edwards Srl, part of the Atlas Copco Group, are looking for a Service Planner.  Based in Avezzano, you’ll coordinate and optimise the daily schedules of Field Service Engineers, ensuring all service activities are delivered efficiently and on time. You’ll manage forward planning of service orders, balance preventive and reactive maintenance, and act as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule all service orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Allocate work to engineers and optimise utilisation
  • Ensure orders and parts are ready ahead of service visits
  • Coordinate with customers to arrange and confirm appointments
  • Monitor progress and ensure all work is completed on time
  • Maintain accurate data in SAP for reporting and tracking
  • Collaborate with engineers, managers, and service centres to resolve issues
  • Support VTS contracts by coordinating materials and customer maintenance activities

To succeed, you will need

 

Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, complex environment with the ability to adapt and reprioritise quickly
  • Background in a technical or service/support environment is preferred
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Experience with SAP; knowledge of CRM or Service Management systems is an advantage

Additional Requirements

  • Languages: English and Italian required; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus

Starting salary within the relevant salary range from EUR 31,000 gross per year, plus variable compensation.  The actual salary offered will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, internal pay equity, level of responsibility, and the experience and skills of the selected candidate.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our office in Milano, Avezzano, Italy (IT).
