Your new role will be
As our newest Warehouse Clerk you will support in the daily operations of our warehouse based in Saint-Laurent. You are responsible for all general warehouse tasks including picking, receiving, dispatching and equipment handling.
You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and supports the day-to-day operations of our warehouse in Saint-Laurent.
You will be required to work in the office 5 days a week for a total of 40-hours per week (from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
The main activities you’ll take care of
- Retrieve the picking list and pick items according to priority
- Place items in the shipping area
- Report any missing items
- Receive containers and perform quality checks
- Assign storage locations
- File bills of lading and packing lists
- Verify physical goods and review shipping requirements
- Pack goods securely and record the weight and dimensions of packages
- Pack equipment into crates and unpack it from crates
- Participate in the annual inventory count
- Perform all other related tasks and projects
- Comply with the organization’s policies and standards regarding the environment, health and safety, recycling, sustainability, and quality assurance
To succeed, you will need
What will help you succeed in your new role
- Minimum high school diploma
- 1 year of experience working in a warehouse
- Ability to communicate in French and English
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Ability to perform physical work including standing, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, reaching and walking
- Good computer literacy skills specifically using Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and SAP
- Fluency in English is required in order to communicate with colleagues and customers outside of Quebec.
