Your new role will be
As our newest Parts Specialist, you will be handling and coordinating all incoming customer requests in relations with parts sales. Your exceptional customer service skills will come into play while you process their transactions and respond to their inquiries in an efficient, accurate and friendly manner. Your organization and proactivity will help you as you coordinate various data and information to increase your workflow and create customer satisfaction. When you begin, you will be supported with all necessary training and will enjoy opportunities for on-the-job learning.
This position is hybrid and requires an in-office presence of 3x per week. The work week is 35 hours per week.
This position can be based in the following offices: Saint-Laurent, Mississauga, Edmonton or Calgary
The main activities you’ll be responsible for
- Proactively reaching out to existing customers with low activity to uncover new opportunities
- Conducting outbound follow-ups on overdue quotations, open leads, and dormant accounts.
- Identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across our parts, services, and consumables portfolio.
- Maintain a small portfolio of strategic customers to ensure recurring business and revenue growth.
- Participate in promotional activities (e.g., consumables campaigns, seasonal pushes, airends, filters, rebuild kits, etc.)
- Taking spare parts orders through phone, fax, email and on-line through Shop-On-Line from both internal and external customers
- Answering customer order inquiries and other technical inquiries regarding parts identification and breakdowns
- Taking opportunities to up-sell, make suggestions and provide advice on services and products available to add satisfaction for the customer and increase our sales
- Using our CRM system (C4C) to record and retrieve client information, verify inventory levels and process purchase orders
- Ensuring consistent follow-ups throughout the whole process of receiving and processing orders and quotations from customers, internal Product Managers and Sales Representatives
- Properly receiving, coordinating, and investigating all returns and credit requests from our customers, Product managers and Sales Representatives
- Maintaining an on-going liaison with clients and our warehouse regarding orders, including availability of parts, price and lead time

What will help you succeed in your new role
- Your ability to communicate with customers and important stakeholders in both French and English (if based in Saint-Laurent, Qc)
- Your exceptional customer service skills as a result of your strong customer service background (minimum 2 years)
- Your strong ability to be organized and proactive in your daily tasks
- Proven ability or interest in proactive sales
- Your excellent skills using Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and an CRM/ERP system (ex: SAP, C4C)
- Your ability to collaborate well in teams and be disciplined when working independently
- Your basic mechanical/parts knowledge would be an asset
