Your Role

Mission:

Développer des canaux de vente (revendeurs et sociétés de location) dans le but d'augmenter la part de marché et le volume des ventes des générateurs Atlas Copco Power Technique, des tours d'éclairage et des systèmes de stockage d'énergie sur le territoire désigné. Territoire englobant les provinces du Québec et du Canada atlantique. Mettre en œuvre des actions qui se traduisent par des ventes et une croissance rentable qui sont conformes aux objectifs et buts globaux de l'entreprise. Cette pénétration dans le canal de vente et un service client de classe mondiale sont primordiaux pour atteindre l'objectif de l'entreprise de devenir  "First in Mind – First in Choice ".

 

Develop sales channels (dealers and rental companies) with the goal of increasing market share and sales volume for Atlas Copco Power Technique Generators, light towers, and energy storage systems in the designated territory.  Territory to encompass Quebec and Atlantic Canada provinces. Implement actions that result in sales and profitable growth that are in-line with overall company objectives and goals. This penetration into the sales channel and world-class customer service are paramount in accomplishing the company goal of becoming "First in Mind – First in Choice".
 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Objectives:

• Augmenter les ventes et la part de marché des générateurs, des tours d'éclairage et des systèmes de stockage d'énergie d'Atlas Copco Power Technique sur le territoire concerné, conformément aux directives de l'équipe de direction.
• Effectuer la gestion des concessionnaires et des ventes sur le territoire désigné pour couvrir au mieux le marché et les applications et besoins des clients.
• Pénétrations de comptes stratégiques et établissement continu de relations pour permettre à Atlas Copco de pénétrer le canal de la location d'équipements avec des sociétés de location nationales et indépendantes et d'augmenter la part de clientèle/les revenus au sein de ces comptes.
• Objectif à long terme de devenir le fournisseur unique pour nos offres complètes et croissantes d'équipements, de services et de support.

•    Grow Atlas Copco Power Technique Generators, light towers, and Energy Storage Systems sales and market share in applicable territory as directed by management team
•    Perform dealer and sales management in the designated territory to best cover market and customer’s applications and needs 
•    Strategic account penetrations and continued relationship building to enable Atlas Copco to penetrate the equipment rental channel with both national and independent rental companies and increase customer share/revenue within these accounts.
•    Long term objective of becoming the single-source supplier for our complete and expanding equipment, service and support offerings.

 
 Primary Responsibilities:

• Aider tous les autres représentants et employés selon les besoins, y compris la formation ou le travail partagé avec d'autres clients.
• Ce poste nécessitera de nombreux déplacements de nuit, 60 %, y compris les week-ends et les jours fériés, selon les besoins.
• Superviser et gérer les démonstrations de produits avec les clients clés pour prouver la productivité du produit, sa facilité d'utilisation et ses performances globales.
• Aider l'équipe de développement des affaires et le vice-président régional en effectuant efficacement des activités de développement de marché et de gestion de comptes pour ces comptes stratégiques et autres comptes cibles.
• Réaliser des rapports approfondis et informatifs sur les activités pour examen par la direction.
• Travailler avec les chefs de produit et l'équipe de direction pour proposer des programmes stratégiques pour les opportunités de développement commercial.
• Utiliser le système SAP CRM pour préparer toutes les propositions de vente de nouveaux équipements, maintenir à jour l'état du développement du pipeline, les activités de développement commercial, les coordonnées, les notes et toute autre information pertinente.
• Coordonner et réaliser des démonstrations de produits et des formations selon les besoins des clients.
• Présenter de nouveaux produits et fonctionnalités/avantages aux clients.
• Établir et surveiller les niveaux de prix pour être compétitif et atteindre les objectifs de profit.
• Fournir des mises à jour régulières sur les conditions du marché et l'activité des concurrents, y compris les menaces/opportunités à venir, si nécessaire pour aider au développement et à la commercialisation de nouveaux produits.
• Représenter à tout moment les valeurs et attitudes fondamentales d'Atlas Copco.

•    Develop and implement a strategy to achieve sales revenue growth and market share targets within designated territory 
•    Develop and maintain positive relationships with established customers through close management of accounts and attention to their needs 
•    Assess and define customer applications so that the correct product can be represented.  Ensure integrity in the application of the products
•    Assist any other reps and employees as required, including training or shared work with other customers
•    This position will require extensive overnight travel, 60%, including weekends and holidays as needed
•    Supervise and manage product demonstrations with key customers to prove product productivity, ease of use and overall performance.
•    Assist Business Development team and Regional Vice President by effectively performing market development and account management activities towards these strategic and other target accounts.
•    Perform in-depth and informative reporting on activities for review by management.
•    Work with Product Managers and management team to offer strategic programs for business development opportunities.
•    Utilize SAP CRM system to prepare all new equipment sales proposals, maintain up to date status of pipeline development, business development activities, contact information, notes and any other relevant information.
•    Coordinate and conduct product demonstrations and trainings as needed by customers.
•    Introduce new products and features/benefits to customers.
•    Establish and monitor pricing levels to be competitive and meet profit targets.
•    Provide regular updates on market conditions and competitor activity, including upcoming threats/opportunities, as necessary to assist new product development and marketing
•    Represent the core values and attitudes of Atlas Copco at all times.
 

 

 

 
To succeed, you will need  

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of related work experience in Capital Equipment Sales to the rental or civil construction industries.
  •  Experience within Generators rental and/or capital sales markets is strongly preferred.

 

Education:

  • A 4-year, bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

Certifications/Licenses: 

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
 

Skills:

Computer Skills:
• Must have working knowledge of computer and smart phone applications including Microsoft Office Suite; experience and proficiency with CRM platforms is desirable.

Language & Reasoning Ability:
• Must be able to read English & French, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write detailed reports and business correspondence is required.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
• Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule form.
• Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in various situations where only limited standardization exist.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

 

Travel: 

Must be able to travel extensively (usually by airplane or automobile) throughout the assigned area, US and globally as needed to coordinate activities. Approximately 60% travel is expected.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:
