We are currently seeking a Global Business Manager Automotive Tiers for Desoutter Business Line. This highly exposed role, crucial to the success of Desoutter, will report to the VP Desoutter;

You will be responsible to develop further our automotive tiers/suppliers business segment with clear growth and customer loyalty goals, and to manage a product marketing team.

 

 

Your missions will be to :

 

  • Manage all key players within major players who will consolidate the Desoutter as ‘the’ preferred supplier in the automotive Tiers segment ;
  • Drive Key Account relationship at a high level management, together with Key Customer Managers team globally ;
  • Define together with the local counterparts the correct strategy including customer needs and offering, competition analysis, opportunities, activities, and follow up ;
  • Improve Desoutter brand awareness at all levels with one Desoutter message worldwide, focusing on Industry 4.0, Value Added proposition and brand position ;
  • Further develop the Automotive tiers product roadmap, ensuring we have the most innovative product & solution portfolio ;
  • Be responsible for coordinating the customer mapping and understanding the needs (current and future needs) - our Product generation plan should match the future needs of those customers ;
  • Be accountable for the global customer loyalty improvement plan and set the right actions with all Business Line Managers globally to achieve this goal ;
  • Communicate efficiently with the local teams, execute and follow up ;
  • Manage your team (appraisal, support, skills development).

 

 

With an Engineering or University degree (technically and commercially oriented), you present a strong and successful experience of relationships business, with Automotive industrial marketing & business knowledge. You should have an international profile, proven leadership skills and also proven background in marketing management. You have a clear vision and a proven ability to achieve results, in depth understanding of the automotive industry and generally speaking of the industry changes, proven track record in project management at high level, managerial experience and creativity at work and promoting continuous improvements.

With an excellent communication level, you are dynamic, autonomous, with a strong leadership and able to empower the team members, to create trustworthy and fair relations. You present strong skills at networking both inside the division with marketing and engineering people as well as externally, connecting with customers and suppliers. You would like to collaborative with colleagues both creatively and from an in-depth technical perspective, and you have the ability to combine genuine technical interest with a good marketing sense, outgoing, responsible, and structured.

This position requires frequent travels. Fluency in English is mandatory (another language will be a plus).
