Your role

As a Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and repairing of product and ensure an excellent level of customer satisfaction. You will report to the Operations Manager and Operations Team Lead.

  • You will assemble, test, and repair products according to work orders and procedures.

  • Understand and work to hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and general engineering drawings and specifications.

  • You will prepare proper documentation and certifications per standards.

  • You will present a positive image of Atlas Copco to customers, integrators and vendors.

  • You will assemble and test rivet setters and complete riveting tools and systems.

  • Perform timely and effective preventive maintenance on production tools and equipment.

  • You will maintain safe, clean and organized work areas that are free from hazard.

  • Train other employees 

  • Collaborate with other areas of the organizaiton

  • Minimum one year of practical/relevant experience in a similar manufacturing environment.

  • Hands-on mechanical/electrical/hydraulic experience.

  • Computer literacy and ability to read assembly drawings.

  • Knowledge and demonstration of safe work practices.

  • Willing to learn and develop along with the company.

  • Operate effectively and with a high level of quality.

EDUCATION OR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (AS APPLICABLE):

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
