Your role

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to the company’s Controller in the preparation and maintenance of the Company’s financial statements. You will report to the Business Controller.

You will:

  • Control and reconcile accounts and records, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and bank accounts.
  • Prepare accounting reports and schedules for internal audiences (management) and external audiences (compliance reporting), including consolidation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, and budget reporting.
  • Support cost accounting and budgeting activities, including allocation of direct/indirect costs, variance analysis, and budget preparation.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable and credit & collections to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CMA or CPA license, preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience; minimum of 3 years of experience working with standard costing
  • 3+ years working with ERP systems
  • Proficient in Excel; experience in other Microsoft applications
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Advanced problem solving skills
  • Experience working in a high volume manufacturing environment

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our (insert organization here) in New Hudson, United States (US).
