Your role
As a Production Technician, your mission is to be responsbile for the assembly of adhesive dispensing equipment. You will report to the Production Manager.
This is a 1st shift opportunity: 6am-2:30pm.
You will

- Assemble dispensing systems
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment, using testing instruments
- Inspect and perform quality control checks
- Log into daily schedule and complete assigned tasks
- Escalate any issues/concerns
- Resolves and test finished products, debugs electrical, mechanical and software issues dynamically
- Maintains clean, organized workstation
- Adheres quality and safety standards and participate in safety initiative
- Document required production documents
- Coordinate with Quality, Project Engineering, Project management teams related to issues on work shop

- Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly in a production environment
- Ability to learn computer programs
- Knowledge and skills in the construction, operation, and hazard recognition of electrical systems and equipment
- Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics
- Ability to use basic hand tools along with industry instruments including a voltage detector and caliper
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Continuous improvement mindset: ability to implement new processes and ideas
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize conflicting tasks, manage time effectively, and make certain independent decisions
- Ability to stand for the majority of an 8 hour work shift; 6 or more hours typically
- Ability to lift up to 35-40 pounds periodically; lift assist available as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED Required
