Your role

The role will support the implementation of new products as we continue our year by year expanding growth.You will report directly to the General Manager of Nano Purification Solutions Ltd and will be actively involved in the rolling out the strategic direction and growth aspects of the business.

 

You will

  • Set targets in line with the departmental objectives for the creation and management of all product process SOP’s, ensuring control and adherence within the manufacturing environment.
  • Promote a culture which ensures discipline of standards and expectations, and these are followed and met at all times.
  • Roll out training programmes for all new processes introduced.
  • Ensure all manufacturing activities are covered by SOPs.
  • Ensure manufacturing performance indicators are measured and monitored.
  • Prioritise and develop projects based on critical needs.
  • Constant review and improvement to ensure effective and efficient process re-engineering, training, piece part flow etc. Recommend, innovate, and implement revised methods and processes to ensure labour costs are in line with the business objectives.
  • Excellent communication with other stakeholders within the business to support the introduction.
  • Support with Supply Chain departments to work with exisiting or new suppliers in any new product introduction. 
  • Assures product and process quality by designing test methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing methods.

To succeed, you will need

  • Degree educated in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications (HND/NNC) – Essential
  • 3 Years experience in an industrial manufacturing role – Desirable
  • Proven experience of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and business improvement tools and techniques – Essential
  • Working knowledge of FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa diagrams, 5-Why and SPC – Desirable
  • Ability to work on your own initiative with a pro-active approach to challenges.
  • Ability to take a systematic approach to daily tasks.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Good team player and influencer.
  • Experience of working and developing a Production Engineering team – Desirable
  • Full Driving Licence and willingness for occasional travel - Essential
