Your role

Service Engineer

We are hiring a Service Engineer for High‑Pressure Gas Compressors, responsible for troubleshooting, field service support, technical training, warranty analysis, and providing product‑improvement feedback for compressors handling Hydrogen, CO₂, Nitrogen, and other industrial gases.

Key Responsibilities 

• Service management

1. Managing CNG Station of allocated territory with highest uptime
2. Inventory management for O&M Contracts Development of sub-contracting team
3. Follow Atlas Copco Service Process Customer relationship management

• Operations Management Monitoring of Operations and maintenance 

1. Compliance of Service Level agreement with customer.
2. Responsible for existing and new Operations and maintenance Contract Management with the help of service team.
3. Timely planning and completion of preventive maintenance of Compressor and associated accessories.
4. Errection and Commissioning of new compressor package.
5. Complying with legal requirement of contract and submitting invoice timly.
6. Regular payment follow up with customer. Inventory planning and management and follow up with logistic for delivery.
7. Service job reporting through MAM2.
8. Service Job opening and closing within time.
9. Monitor Non-Core purchase for specified territory.
10. Support Vendor orders management & payment Processing & keeping record with the Service team.
11. Prepare training calendar and Training of aftermarket dealer service personnel and customer personnel

• Customer relation management

1. Actively manage customer relationships by coordinating with the C&P team and the customer’s technical/consultant team, ensuring strong rapport and continuous engagement.
2. Maintain regular customer visits to strengthen connections and ensure consistent communication and support.

• Compliance with Corporate Guidelines

1. Follow in letter and spirit the Atlas Copco Vision, Mission and core values

3. Comply with the policies and procedures communicated from time to time
4. Perform any other tasks given by supervisor from time to time

• Other Effective coordination between order execution team, PC ,ISC and service team operation manager.

1. Fast and error free response to customer query.
2. Complete responsibility of CNG Service business technical and operations activity for given territory.

To succeed, you will need

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
• Technical training in compressor systems, electrical/electronic controls, hydraulics, or pneumatics & Gas engine is an advantage.

Experience & Technical Skills 

• 02 to 05 years of experience in technical service roles, preferably involving high‑pressure gas compressors (Hydrogen, CO₂, Nitrogen).
• Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting reciprocating compressors, refrigeration systems, and control instrumentation.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capability with understanding of control circuits, compressor/dryer controls, refrigeration circuits, and diagnostic tools.
• Proficiency with software tools used for technical reporting and system evaluation.
