Area Sales Manager - Aftermarket Direct

Your role
Your mission as an Area Sales Manager Direct is to maximise and grow the sales of our air compressor range.
You will
- Increase revenue of aftermarket components, including but not limited to spare parts, mechanical/electrical components, pipework and extended warranty agreements across the territory in accordance with agreedbusiness/area plans & budgets.
- Plan and prioritise sales activities, customer/prospect interaction and marketing activities towards achieving agreed business aims, including sales growth and profitability.
- Develop trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Deliver sales presentations, end user sales/site visits and exhibitions as required.
- Drive a value-based sales approach promoting our products features and benefits.
- Manage customer satisfaction and support warranty and any related supply issues pertaining to your geographical sales area and customer base.
- Manage pricing in your area, avoiding price erosion, with support of the CTS Business Line Manager and in line with the pricing guidelines.
- Operate within the current tier-based loyalty structure and in line with the Company’s mission.
- Proactive use of CRM (C4C) system to enable consistent and clear view of sales forecast/pipeline.
- Formulate commercial proposals and the calculation of sales prices to maximise both revenues & profits.
To succeed, you will need
- Relevant HNC/ONC qualification or equivalent experience gained through time served.
- Proven B2B sales experience, industrial sector aftermarket sales experience will be viewed as a distinct advantage.
- Good standard of knowledge of the compressed air industry.
- Experience of sales territory management.
- Able to use technical/professional knowledge and information.
- Able to promote, develop and maintain a culture conductive to quality throughout the organisation and to improve its performance.
- Able to positively persuade, convince and impress others in order to achieve results.
- Able to identify alternatives to current thinking; ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to problems.
- Full UK Driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
- Lives within geographical area and able to visit Warrington office when required.

Job location
This role is field‑based and covers the Northern sales territory, with a preferred location around Halifax/Leeds.
Successful applicant must have the right to live and work in the UK.
