Business Controller - Atlas Copco CT, Norway and Denmark
Atlas Copco Kompressorteknikk AS in Norway is looking for a Business Controller to be part of the Management Team, and to work closely with the whole organization as a finance business partner.
We have just opened an exciting career opportunity within our team and are looking for driven and collaborative person to take up the role as a Business Controller.
This position is based in our Customer Center in Vestby, just outside of Oslo. As Business Controller you will play a key role in providing timely and transparent financial analyzes and reports to support business decisions, and to drive future growth of our Customer Center. The role is part of our management team and will report to the General Manager of Atlas Copco Kompressorteknikk AS.
Areas of responsibility
- Act as senior business controller for our CT Customer Centers in Norway and Denmark by supporting and further developing our business controller function in CT Denmark.
- Prepare and provide accurate, timely and legally compliant financial analysis to support the management team with business decisions.
- Sustain and further develop solid internal control environment to protect the company's assets, and to ensure that financial reporting and accounting matters are in accordance with the company's and statutory accounting practices.
- Ensure adaptation and standardization of the financial processes.
- Take care of the legal, statutory and tax requirements of the company.
- Be proactive and ensure that right priorities are applied within the areas of financial reporting and compliance. Ensure that corrective action plans are defined where necessary and maintain open communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead annual target setting and regular forecast updates for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Capital Expenditure.
- Ensure and review cost allocations among the divisions.
- Provide, monitor, and analyze financial KPIs and scorecards.
- Monitor and red-flag receivables and inventory.
- Support and prepare budgets for the management team.
- Own and monitor local bank processes.
- Further develop our business intelligence tools and capabilities.
Requirements and qualifications
- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business & administration or minimum of five (5) years respective work experience, preferably from industrial sector.
- You have advanced knowledge of MS Office and SAP, and other financial tools and platforms with solid digital competence.
- You possess strong focus in quality, accuracy, deadlines, and orderly work, and you have good implementation skills.
- You are capable in working with occasional short deadlines and are stress resilient.
- You are self-driven, collaborative, and trustworthy with good communication skills and fluency in English, Norwegian language skills would be beneficial.
