We are looking to add the right people who will support our company mission, vision and values. We are currently seeking someone for Inside Sales/Parts Sales to join our team. 


Basic Function:


Provide sales and administrative support for the aftermarket operation, including answering customer inquiries for parts and services. Generate quotes for parts, recommended repairs, preventative maintenance and extended service plans. Enter orders and establish credit.  Expedite customer orders and serve as the primary liaison between customers and suppliers, providing updated order availability/delivery information.  Perform outbound calling to close opportunities, capture reoccurring service customers, develop new customers and opportunities.  Maintain inventory, purchase, and issue parts to service technicians involved in air compressor maintenance.  



Nature & Scope:                      


Perform assigned duties in accordance with Quincy Compressor standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer. Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.


Principle Duties:

  • Answer customer calls and emails to identify, quote, and sell service, replacement and aftermarket parts.
  • Prepare Quincy and Non-Quincy quotations and enter/submit orders. 
  • Respond to customer inquiries, or questions in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
  • Actively promote aftermarket parts, preventative maintenance and extended service plans.
  • Perform outbound and cold calling to existing and potential customers to generate new sales.
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly / annual order received goals through sales pipeline management.
  • Follow up on quoted opportunities to close sales.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date information in CRM tool to forecast, manage leads and capture customer data.
  • Expedite customer orders and serve as the primary liaison customers and suppliers, providing updated order availability/delivery information.
  • Maintain all paperwork and ensure POs, orders, quotes, etc. are maintained to ensure prompt customer follow-up and compliance with company procedures.
  • Process credit approvals.
  • Initiate invoicing for orders.
  • Assist in collections and credit disputes.
  • Flexible to work overtime, as required.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or college degree preferred.
  • A minimum of two year of relevant sales support experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the compressor / HVAC industry highly desirable.
  • Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be sales focused and driven to achieve monthly goals.
  • Must be self-directed and self-motivated, willing to take action while coping with varied workloads.
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Must be highly customer service oriented, trustworthy, and dependable.
  • Must have excellent communication skills over the phone and the ability to resolve customer issues.
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to read manuals, parts lists, BOMs or technical drawings.
  • Experience in or ability to quickly learn multiple programs including Salesforce, BPCS and others.

  • General Safety Training
  • BPCS Training


Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to be able to move about the facility (standing, walking).
  • Personal Protective Equipment:
  • In designated areas, must wear safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and other PPE, as directed, at all times.


Work Environment:

Mainly an office environment, with some exposure to a warehouse or workshop environment.
