Power Platform Engineer

Your role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, especially:
• Power BI for building interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
• Power Apps for developing low-code business applications.
• Power Automate for automating workflows and integrating services.
• A solid understanding of the Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, relationships, and security roles.
• Experience in connecting and transforming data from various sources, both cloud and on-premises.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or a willingness to learn emerging technologies in the Microsoft data ecosystem.
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions that align with business needs and governance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a user-centric mindset.
• Experience working in agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for learning new tools and features within the Power Platform and broader Microsoft ecosystem.

To succeed, you will need

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, secure technology changes that meet complex technical requirements and architectures.
• Experienced in end-to-end testing to ensure delivered solutions/services are scalable, maintainable, and meet user needs.
• Demonstrable experience developing and/or configuring relevant data, integration, and other relevant technologies (e.g. DataVerse, Databricks).
• Demonstrable experience with DevOps tooling to automate development and deployment processes desirable (e.g. CICD).
• Hands-on experience in relevant programming languages (e.g. DAX), and other frameworks to deliver change.
• Deep engineering expertise in one or more technical domains (e.g., data engineering, integrations, Cloud), demonstrated with relevant technical certifications where applicable (e.g. Power Platform Fundamentals).
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall development environments.
